Welcome to the LLA Project Directors Association: a nonprofit association supporting local tobacco control project directors in all California health departments.
The LLA PDA is an Association of Local Lead Agencies (representing 58 counties and 4 cities) working in tobacco control. This website is specifically for the LLAs.
Who we are: The LLA Project Directors Association (PDA) was formed 23 years ago by the Local Lead Agencies who manage tobacco control programs for their county health departments. The LLA Project Directors Association is a nonprofit association registered with the IRS and the California Secretary of State.
It's mission is to provide additional training, technical assistance and support to all the Local Lead Agencies in the state. The PDA also serves as an interface and liaison between the Local Lead Agencies and (CTCP) the State of California Tobacco Control Program.
